LCD

LCD stands for liquid crystal diodes. It uses a cold cathode and electricity to emit (produce) electrons that light up a fluorescent panel of crystals which transformed into shapes.
Advantages of LCD
  • Provide a sharp image
  • Consume less electricity
  • Produce less heat
  • Slim design
Disadvantages of LCD
  • LCD has a shorter lifespan of approximately 10,000 hours
  • Provide a limited viewing angle
  • Consume more power than LED
