Microphone is a device that converts sound into electric signals. Microphone is used in many devices such as telephone, hearing aid etc. The microphone has diaphragm (Thin material) which vibrates when it is struck by sound waves then it causes other components in the microphone to vibrate then vibrations are converted into an electric current which becomes the audio signal.
