PageMaker toolbox contains following tools to create publication documents and these are:

1. Pointer Tool - It is used to pick, drag and draw text boxes, images and other objects.

2. The Text Tool - It is used to insert, select and edit text

3. Rotate Tool - It is used to rotate a text box or image to a desired angle.

4. Crop Tool - Crop tool is used to crop imported images.

5. Drawing Tools- 

• Oblique Tool - Using this tool we can draw straight line at any angle.
• Constrained line tool - Using this tool we can draw horizontal, vertical and 45 degree angle lines.
• Box Tool - Using this tool we can create rectangular shapes
• Circle Tool - Using this tool we can create circular or oval shapes.
• Polygon Tool - Using this tool we can create shapes that has more than 4 sides.

6. Frame Tools-

• Rectangle Frame Tool - Using this tool we can create rectangular text box.
• Circular Frame Tool - Using this tool we can create circular or oval text box
• Polygon Frame Tool - Using this tool we can create polygon text box.

7. Hand Tool (Panning)- Using this tool we can drag a page for optimal view

8. Zoom Tool  - Using this tool we magnifies or reduces the area of the page
