Desktop Publishing(DTP)- Desktop publishing (DTP) is used to create publishing documents using page layout skills on a personal computer. DTP provide more control over design, layout and composition of publishing documents. DTP allows the user to produce a wide range of materials such magazines, books, greeting cards, calendars, flyers etc.

DTP applications-The most common DTP applications are as follows:-
