There are three types of internetworking
Intranet
Intranet is a private network and allows access to only specific users of a company or enterprise. A large intranet will typically have its own private web servers and these are controlled by a single administrative authority.
Extranet
Extranet is a network of internetworking that is limited to a single organization but also has limited access to external network or networks.
Internet
Internet is a worldwide interconnection of governmental, academic, public, and private networks.
